Phase II - Central Zone
The Park’s second phase Central Zone is planned in a series of individual office buildings in a campus arrangement surrounding a central water feature, lake and landscaped park. After its completion it will provide a total of 42,000 m2 of office and mixed-use space.
The first two buildings A & B were developed in the Summer of 2014. Further construction of buildings C and D is now in negotiations.
Situated right at the centre of the project the Central Zone provides core supporting facilities with retail and services functions as part of the Park’s central reception and management building. These include further café and bistro facilities,
convenient supermarket, bank or conference centre.
The buildings are designed to meet the latest standards in sustainability with energy saving and water management systems incorporated. The premises provide the optimum solution for organizations wishing to place research and development projects at the site to benefit from the locations advantages.
Beyond Phase II there are two important projects developed by the Brno University of Technology (BUT). Central European Research Institute CEITEC and Civil Engineering Advanced Materials Faculty ADMAS both of which commenced the construction early in year 2011. Both of these projects provide research laboratories and run international programmes focusing on Material Science and Advanced Nano and Microtechnologies as well as Advanced Communication and Controlling Technololgy.
